We continued to follow the signs for the 'Ring of Hook Drive' and the next thing that caught our eye was this ruin which dates back to the days of the Knights Templars. In 1172 King Henry 11 granted them extensive lands along the eastern shore of Waterford Harbour. They set up their headquarters here at Templetown.
